Do Pakistani universities require a personal statement?

Yes, for many programs — especially private universities like LUMS, IBA, and FAST, plus most study-abroad applications.

What should you avoid in a personal statement?

Generic openers like "I love computers", copied paragraphs from the internet, listing achievements, and trashing other schools. Specifics and honesty win.
